Electrical Equipment. Residents must use only CSA, UL-approved or Canadian-certified electrical equipment; the rated wattage of light fixtures must never be exceeded; and only replacement bulbs supplied by Waterloo maintenance staff may be used. Do not leave any unattended electrical equipment turned on (i.e. hair straighteners, lights etc.)
Electrical Equipment. 6.1 The Hirer shall not alter, move or in any way interfere with any lighting heating power or other electrical fittings or appliances in the Hall.
Electrical Equipment. Any electrical equipment brought by the Hirer onto the school site MUST comply with the Schools code of practice for portable electrical appliance equipment. Equipment must either have a certificate of safety from a qualified electrical engineer or be inspected by the School. The intention to use any electrical equipment must be notified on the application. Car Parking Facilities Subject to availability, these may be used by the Hirer and other adults involved in the letting. No guarantee of availability is given. Please ensure all cars are parked in the academic car park via Xxxxx Xxxxx (this is the second car park on the right hand side). Toilet Facilities Access to appropriate toilet facilities is included as part of the hire arrangements.
Electrical Equipment. The Tenant shall not, without Xxxxxxxx's written consent in each instance, connect to the electrical distribution system any fixtures, appliances, or equipment which will operate individually or collectively at a wattage in excess of the capacity of the electrical system serving the Premises as the same may be reasonably determined by Landlord and Landlord may audit Tenant's use of electric power to determine Tenant's compliance herewith. If Landlord, in its sole discretion, permits such excess usage, Tenant will pay for the cost of such excess power as additional rent, together with the cost of installing any additional risers, meters, or other facilities that may be required to furnish or measure such excess power to the Premises.
Electrical Equipment. The Hirer must ensure that any electrical equipment brought by them onto the premises has been PAT tested within the last 2 years, and is used in a safe manner in accordance with the latest Electricity at Work Regulations.
Electrical Equipment a) Electric wiring of every kind shall be introduced and connected only as directed by the Landlord, and no boring or cutting for wires will be allowed except with the consent of the Landlord. The location of the telephones, call boxes, etc., shall be prescribed by the Landlord.
Electrical Equipment. Tenant shall not install, operate or maintain in the Premises or in any other area of the Building, any electrical equipment which does not bear the U/L (Underwriters Laboratories) seal of approval, or which would overload the electrical system or any part thereof beyond its capacity for proper, efficient and safe operation, as determined by Landlord, taking into consideration the overall electrical system and the present and future requirements therefore in the Building. Tenant shall not furnish any cooling or heating to the Premises, including, without limitation, the use of any electronic or gas heating devices, without Landlord’s prior written consent.

Equipment must either have a certificate of safety from a qualified electrical engineer or be inspected by the LA prior to use and certified fit for use. The intention to use any electrical equipment must be notified on the application form.
Electrical Equipment. The Tenant must ensure that all electrical equipment and appliances are inspected, tested and tagged in accordance with, and as often as required by, the standards contained in the Standard Inspection and Testing AS/NZS 3760.
Electrical Equipment. Tenant shall not install, operate or maintain in the Premises any electrical equipment which does not bear the Underwriters Laboratory approval, or which equipment would overload any portion of the electrical system of the Property in Landlord’s sole determination.
