ELECTIVE SERVICE CREDITING. (1.56(C)). The Plan must credit Related Employer Service under Section 1.23(C) and also must credit certain Predecessor Employer/Predecessor Plan Service under Section 1.56(B). The Plan also elects under Section 1.56(C) to credit as Service the following Predecessor Employer service (Choose one of (a) or (b)):

ELECTIVE SERVICE CREDITING. If the Employer does not maintain the plan of a Predecessor Employer, the Plan does not credit Service with the Predecessor Employer, unless the Employer in its Adoption Agreement (or in a Participation Agreement, if applicable) elects to credit designated Predecessor Employer Service and specifies the purposes for which the Plan will credit service with that Predecessor Employer. Unless the Employer under its Adoption Agreement provides for this purpose specific Entry Dates, an Employee who satisfies the Plan's eligibility condition(s) by reason of the crediting of predecessor service will enter the Plan in accordance with the provisions of Article II as if the Employee were a re‑employed Employee on the first day the Plan credits predecessor service.

  • Years of Service Any teacher placed on such leave may engage in teaching or any other occupation during such period, may be eligible for unemployment insurance if otherwise eligible for such compensation under the law, and such leave will not result in a loss of credit for years of service in the School District earned prior to the commencement of such leave.

  • Service Credits Employees on pregnancy leave shall be entitled to normal accumulation of service credits for the duration of the pregnancy leave.

  • Incentive, Savings and Retirement Plans During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to participate in all incentive, savings and retirement plans, practices, policies and programs applicable generally to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies, but in no event shall such plans, practices, policies and programs provide the Executive with incentive opportunities (measured with respect to both regular and special incentive opportunities, to the extent, if any, that such distinction is applicable), savings opportunities and retirement benefit opportunities, in each case, less favorable, in the aggregate, than the most favorable of those provided by the Company and its affiliated companies for the Executive under such plans, practices, policies and programs as in effect at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or if more favorable to the Executive, those provided generally at any time after the Effective Date to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.

  • Service Credit Time spent on authorized leaves of absence without pay will count towards seniority, including service credit for annual step increases, layoff purposes, and for computing the amount of vacation leave, provided the employee is properly returned to service and is not serving a probationary period. Employees that do not return to service from a personal leave of absence shall not receive service credit for the time spent on such leave.

  • Matching Contributions The Employer will make matching contributions in accordance with the formula(s) elected in Part II of this Adoption Agreement Section 3.01.
