Elected or Appointed Members of the Governing Authority. An Adopting Employer may elect to permit participation in the Plan by elected or appointed members of the Governing Authority and/or Municipal Legal Officers, provided they otherwise meet the Master Plan's definition of "Employee" and provided they satisfy any other requirements specified by the Adopting Employer. Municipal Legal Officers to be covered must be specifically identified by position. Subject to the above conditions, the Employer hereby elects the following treatment for elected and appointed officials:

  • Determinations and Actions by the Board of Directors All actions, calculations and determinations (including all omissions with respect to the foregoing) which are done or made by the Board of Directors in good faith pursuant to this Agreement, shall not subject the Board of Directors to any liability to the holders of the Rights.

  • Professional Memberships Each employee is eligible for reimbursement for membership fees or dues paid for the maintenance of a license required to perform employee’s job and for dues paid for membership in one additional job related professional association.

  • Interest of Members of Congress No member of or delegate to the Congress of the United States will be admitted to any share or part of this contract or to any benefit arising therefrom.

  • Interest of Members of a City No member of the governing body of the City and no other officer, employee, or agent of the City who exercises any functions or responsibilities in connection with the planning and carrying out of the program, shall have any personal financial interest, direct or indirect, in this Contract, and the Contractor shall take appropriate steps to assure compliance.

  • Composition of Committee A Union/Management Committee shall be established for each Employer covered by this Agreement. The Employer and the Union shall each appoint a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of four (4) representatives to the Union/Management Committee. Where there are fewer than four (4) nurses employed at a worksite, then the number of Union and management representatives may be limited to one each with an alternate.

  • Consolidation of Committees The parties to this Agreement and to the Agreement concerning drug and alcohol testing and EAP between TWU Local 250A and the SFMTA may elect to combine the joint labor- management committee established here and in the Local 250A Agreement.
