Effective June. 30, 2015, a probationary faculty member with a teaching assignment who is in the first year of his/her probationary period will be granted a three credit reassignment per academic year or nine-month appointment to pursue non-teaching activities consistent with Article 22 and described in the faculty member’s professional development plan and professional development report. Normally, a faculty member who receives a reassignment under this paragraph will not be assigned additional instruction on an overload basis.
Effective June. 10, 2022, the School Division shall provide the following information to the Association and to TEBA annually as soon as possible after September 30 but no later than the last operational day in December: 2.8.2.1 HSA / WSA / RRSP utilization rates; 2.8.2.2 Most recent School Division financial statement; 2.8.2.3 Total benefit premium cost; 2.8.2.4 Total substitute teacher cost; 2.8.2.5 Total principal / vice principal / Assistant principal allowance cost; 2.8.2.6 Total other allowance cost; and, 2.8.2.7 Notwithstanding the timeline set out in 2.8.2, the full-time assignable hours for a typical full time teacher for each school shall be provided no later than October 31.

Effective June. 30, 2016 and thereafter, employees who have a minimum of ten (10) consecutive years of District service just before they are to receive terminal pay benefits and who are retiring/leaving the employment of the District or who are entering into DROP shall have such terminal pay benefits provided to them through the BENCOR National Government Employees Retirement Plan as adopted by the School Board in 1999.
Effective June. If the employee is successful in application for promotion and/or appointment a seniority date shall be struck in the new unit on the following basis: the employee’s accumulated aggregate hours in this unit will be divided by to determine the equivalent full time service. This service and seniority will then be back-dated from the effective date of promotion and/or appointment to give a struck seniority date. Should a reversion be necessary or requested by the employee, the employee will be reverted to former position in the Recreation Workers’ Unit if the position has not been filled in the interim period. If the position has been filled in the interim, the City shall place said employee in a position in the Recreation Workers’ Unit for which is qualified provided such is available. The employee shall be credited with the service standing to credit at the time of reversion, including the service earned in the Local Full-time bargaining unit, immediately prior to such reversion. Such service shall be designated as the employee’s seniority consistent with the provisions of Article of the Local Recreation Workers’ Unit Collective Agreement.
