Effective Date and Expiration Date. (a) This Agreement is effective and in full force and effect in accordance with its terms and conditions as of and from the Effective Date. This Agreement and all outstanding Rights terminate and are void and of no further force and effect on and from the Expiration Date.

Effective Date and Expiration Date. The effective date of this amendment shall be October 9, 1998 (the "EFFECTIVE DATE") and Section 16(a) of the Agreement is hereby amended to provided that the Initial Term shall expire on July 31, 2003.
