Effect on Benefits a. Employees on Family and Medical Leave shall be covered by District Life Insurance Group Coverage and Hospital-Medical, Dental, Vision Group Coverage as though they were in active service.
Effect on Agreement Other than as specifically amended herein, the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
Effect on Contract Except as specifically required to implement the purposes of this Section of the Contract, all other terms of the Contract shall remain in force and effect.
Effect on Other Entitlements F12.13 Compassionate leave with pay will count as service for all purposes.
Base Salary During the Employment Term, the Company shall pay Executive a base salary at the annual rate of $250,000, payable in regular installments in accordance with the Company's usual payment practices. Executive shall be entitled to such increases in Executive's base salary, if any, as may be determined from time to time in the sole discretion of the Board. Executive's annual rate of base salary, as in effect from time to time, is hereinafter referred to as the "Base Salary."
Effect on Termination of Negotiating Successor Agreement If either Party provides Notice of Termination pursuant to Section 6.3 and, on or before the noticed date of termination (the End Date), either Party has requested negotiation of a new Interconnection agreement, such notice shall be deemed to constitute a Bona Fide Request to negotiate a replacement agreement for Interconnection, services or Network Elements pursuant to §252 of the Act and this Agreement shall remain in effect until the earlier of: (a) the effective date of a new Interconnection agreement between CLEC and CenturyLink; or, (b) one-hundred sixty (160) Days after the requested negotiation or such longer period as may be mutually agreed upon, in writing, by the Parties, or
Salary on Demotion Whenever an employee demotes to a job classification in a lower range that has a salary rate the same as the previous salary step, the employee’s salary shall be maintained at that step in the lower range. Whenever an employee demotes to a job classification in a salary range which does not have corresponding salary steps with the employee’s previous salary but is within the new salary range, the employee’s salary shall be maintained at the current rate until the next eligibility date. At the employee’s next eligibility date, if qualified, the employee shall be granted a salary rate increase of one (1) full step within the new salary range plus that amount that their current salary rate is below the next higher rate in the salary range. This increase shall not exceed the highest rate in the new salary range. Whenever employees demote to a job classification in a lower range, but their previous salary is above the highest step for that range, the employee shall be paid at the highest step in the new salary range. This Section shall not apply to demotions resulting from official disciplinary actions.
Base Compensation a. The Company and the Bank agree to pay Executive during the term of this Agreement a base salary at the rate of $ per year, payable in accordance with customary payroll practices.
Salary Rate on Demotion When an employee is demoted the employee shall receive the rate for the position if a single salary. If a salary range is established, the maximum reduction shall be the closest step to 8%, but where the differential between the employee's salary before demotion and the maximum salary of the lower position is greater than 8%, the new salary shall be the maximum of the new position.
