Common use of Educational Program Clause in Contracts

Educational Program. The University shall maintain a tuition waiver program. For the purpose of this Article, the term “dependent” shall mean the spouse, domestic partner and /or dependent child. For required concurrent enrollment in a laboratory course, in connection with another separate course, which is covered by a tuition waiver; the tuition waiver shall be applicable to the laboratory course. The laboratory course shall not be counted as part of the eight (8) hours of total waiver and shall not constitute an additional course. Modular courses which may be construed to be a single course and are offered sequentially over a single semester will count as a single course not to exceed four (4) credit hours. The program will be based on space availability for unit members. When space is available, unit members may enroll in a course (s) on a tuition waiver basis.
