Educational Aides. 30.01 Educational aides who work more than four (4) hours, but less than six (6) hours shall be entitled to one ten (10) minute rest period. Educational aides who work a six-hour shift or more shall be entitled to two ten (10) minute rest periods. These rest periods shall not conflict with the employee’s work schedule, and shall be approved by the employee’s immediate supervisor and/or building Principal. This provision is subject to Section 1.04.B.

Educational Aides. Full-time Educational Aide 6.5 hours per day
Educational Aides. The Board agrees that educational aides shall not be used in place of classroom teachers except in an emergency situation when certified substitutes cannot be obtained. There shall be a sign-up list for educational aides who wish to be assigned to classrooms in the absence of a teacher. Employees who do not wish to sign the list will not be required to cover classrooms in the teacher’s absence. For these services, aides will be paid an additional six dollars ($6.00) per hour. In order to provide stability and consistency for students with low incidence disabilities, the Superintendent may restrict educational aides from bidding out of a position during a school year. Educational aides who submit a bid on a vacant position who are awarded the position may not move into the new position until the beginning of the next school year.
Educational Aides. The educational aides shall work in their assigned classrooms the day before the first student day and shall not work the day after the last student day.

Educational Aides. 27.01 Educational Aides contracts maybe suspended under Article 10 (Reduction in Staff) until federal/state funds become available for the following year. Educational Aides hours may also be adjusted to meet district needs; however, if a reduction is necessary, the administration will consider the possibility of suspending contracts to lay off employees before it reduces hours.

  • Educational Services Any service or supply for education, training or retraining services or testing including: special education, remedial education; cognitive remediation; wilderness/outdoor treatment, therapy or adventure programs (whether or not the program is part of a Residential Treatment facility or otherwise licensed institution); job training or job hardening programs; educational services and schooling or any such related or similar program including therapeutic programs within a school setting.

  • Educational Assistance To qualify for reimbursement, an employee must be a regular employee upon enrollment. To be approved, the courses described below must be related to the employee's present position or career development:

  • Educational Assistants Teachers are responsible to assign instructional duties to Educational Assistants who are allocated to students in their classroom by the Principal.

The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • SCHOOLING The Parents agree to work together to ensure that the Child(ren) receive a quality education and shall cooperating in making decisions regarding the Child(ren)’s education. The Parents shall share information about the Child(ren)’s academic progress and shall make reasonable efforts to ensure that the Child(ren) complete assigned homework and projects.

  • PROFESSIONAL AUTONOMY 1. Teachers shall, within the bounds of the prescribed curriculum, and consistent with effective educational practice have individual professional autonomy in determining the methods of instruction, and the planning and presentation of course materials in the classes of pupils to which they are assigned.

  • Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations to bid for contracts, the proposed procurement plan for the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Procurement of all goods and works shall be undertaken in accordance with such procurement plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.
