Common use of Education Courses and Upgrading Clause in Contracts

Education Courses and Upgrading. If an employee attends education or upgrading courses related to employment at the request of the Employer, the Employer shall cover fees and costs incurred on a pre-approved basis, and the employee shall suffer no loss of pay. An employee enrolled in a course, workshop, or seminar for the purpose of upgrading the employee’s present job knowledge and abilities, and having the prior approval of the Employer, upon submission of satisfactory evidence of successful completion of the course, shall be reimbursed for 50% of the tuition and registration costs.
