Education Assistants Committee a) The Parties agree to continue the Education Assistants Committee charged with the responsibility of investigating and making recommendations regarding possibilities for the creation of whole Education Assistant jobs, and for the deployment of Education Assistant staff in accordance with recognized best practices. The Parties agree the Committee will engage with the Ministry of Education around the development andimplementation ofa system of recognized credentials andqualifications to regulate the employment of Education Assistants. The Parties agree the Committee shall consist of not more than 8 representatives appointed by Support Staff unions and not more than 8 representatives appointed by BCPSEA. The Parties agree the Committee will be resourced with a budget fixed by SSEAC and drawn from SSEAC funds to accomplish its work. The Parties agree the work of the Committee will recommence within one year of the ratification of the framework agreement. The Parties agree that the Committee will complete its work and report its findings to the Parties.

  • EDUCATION ASSISTANTS 1. All Education Assistants employed by the Board to assist teachers in carrying out their responsibilities and duties under the School Act and Regulations shall be assigned to classes and/or students by the Principal and shall be assigned specific duties by the teacher during the designated periods of time.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee.   • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of at least two (2) representatives of the Association and an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.

  • Benefits Committee As per LOA#10, a benefits committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, shall convene upon request to address all matters that may arise in the operation of the OSSTF ELHT.

  • Executive Committee (A) The Executive Committee shall be composed of not more than nine members who shall be selected by the Board of Directors from its own members and who shall hold office during the pleasure of the Board.

  • Special Education Committee The parties agree to establish a committee comprised of representatives from ETFO, the Ministry of Education and school board leadership in the area of special education. Additional representatives may be invited as resources to the committee as needed. The committee will discuss current issues as identified by the parties related to supporting students with special education needs. The committee shall meet regularly commencing no later than November 30, 2015 and recommendations will be made to the Minister of Education by April 30, 2016. Terms of reference will be jointly developed to inform the scope of discussions and recommendations.
