Earning Vacation Leave. A. After 1 Year of Service Each full-time employee, after one (1) year of service with the University, shall have earned and will be due upon the attainment of the first year of employment, and annually thereafter, eighty (80) hours of vacation leave with full pay. One (1) year of service shall be computed on the basis of twenty-six (26) biweekly pay periods.

Earning Vacation Leave. Personnel who have eight (8) and sixteen (16) years of continuous service or more shall be entitled to ten (10) and twelve (12) days per year.   • Annual Vacation Leave 33.01 An Employee shall not take vacation leave without prior authorization from the Employer.

  • Vacation Leave Maximum Employees may accumulate maximum vacation leave balances not to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. However, there are two (2) exceptions that allow vacation leave to accumulate above the maximum:

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Restoration of Vacation Leave In the event an employee is injured or becomes ill while on vacation leave, the employee may submit a written request to use sick leave and have the equivalent amount of vacation leave restored. The supervisor may require a written medical certificate.

  • VACATION LEAVE WITH PAY 14.01 The vacation year shall be from April 1st of one calendar year to March 31st of the following calendar year inclusive.
