Common use of Early Identification Clause in Contracts

Early Identification. A. Except for documents listed in Section 9.03 C2 above, information placed in the Unit Member’s personnel file that may jeopardize employment status shall include the initials of the Unit Member and the administrator placing the material in the file, with the date of examination by the Unit Member and the date the material was placed in the file. The Unit Member’s initials or signature will not indicate agreement with the content of the material, but indicates only that the material has been inspected by the professional staff member. Before any written material is placed in a Unit Member’s file, said Unit Member has the right to examine the material and reply in a written statement that will be attached to the file copy.
