Common use of Early Education and Childcare Clause in Contracts

Early Education and Childcare. 1.1 The Provider agrees that it will deliver and provide one or more of the following early education and childcare entitlements: • to three and four-year olds (universal entitlement) - a core funded place of 570 hours a year; and/or • to eligible funded two-year olds, a core funded place of 570 hours a year; and/or • for the 30 hours entitlement for eligible working parents (including xxxxxx parents) of three- and four-year-olds (the extended entitlement) - a funded place for up to an additional 570 hours per year, for up to 52 weeks of the year in accordance with the following standards: • No child care session shall be longer than 10 hours; • There shall (subject to requirements of registration of the Provider’s setting on the Ofsted Early Years Register) be no minimum child care session length; • No child care session shall commence before 6am nor continue after 8pm; and • The child care sessions shall be provided over no more than two sites per day
