Early Childhood Educator. Level 1 Early Childhood Educator Level 1 means an Employee who is an unqualified child care worker whose duties include some or all of the following: • implement the early childhood program under supervision; • implement daily routines; • ensure the health and safety of the children in care; • give each child individual attention and comfort as required; • work in accordance with the licensing requirements under the Act; • understand and work according to the centre or service's policy.
Early Childhood Educator the ECE qualified staff person(s).
Early Childhood Educator. An employee who has completed the basic education requirements; has the required work experience; is suitable to provide care for children between the ages of three years and school age; and is registered as an Early Childhood Educator under the CCF Act; who assists the Senior Supervisor in the provision of a caring and educational program for the children in the centre. Infant/Toddler Educator - An employee who has completed the post-basic education requirements; has the required work experience; is suitable to provide care for children between the ages of six weeks and three years; and is registered as an Infant/Toddler Educator under the CCF Act; who assists the Senior Supervisor in the provision of a caring and educational program for the children in the centre. Lead Hand - An employee who works in the school age care program and possesses the qualifications, including a Class II unrestricted driver's licence and provides care for children ages five to twelve years; works with a small team to provide child care in a team setting; responsible for building meaningful relationships with the administrative staff and support staff at the school; and reports to the Senior School Age Care Provider and the Coordinator of School Age Programs and implements their direction regarding compliance with the contractual agreement with the Vancouver School Board.
Early Childhood Educator. A qualified member of staff responsible for implementing the child care program. Casual (Relief) - wage rates include four percent (4%) vacation pay. Casual employees are excluded from CPI. APPENDIX 2 Registered Retirement Savings Plan All permanent staff will contribute seven point five percent (7.5%) of their hourly wage, each to a Registered Retirement Savings Plan mutually agreed upon by the parties. The Employer agrees to match the seven point five percent (7.5%) contributions of each employee. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #1 Article 13.3 - two (2) months salary in lieu of permanent closure must be kept in a separate account. In the event these monies are needed for extraordinary expenses as agreed upon by the Employer and employees, this Article and account will be adjusted accordingly. This is in recognition of the possible liability to the Parent Board. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #2 Re: Administrative Early Childhood Educator The parties agree that should the current Administrative Early Childhood Educator terminate her position the following conditions shall apply:
