Common use of Duty of Fair Representation Clause in Contracts

Duty of Fair Representation. The Parties acknowledge and recognize the Association’s responsibility, as the exclusive representative under Chapter 174, TLGC, to fairly represent all fire fighters, in the negotiation, administration and enforcement of this Agreement. Nothing in this Agreement will be construed to impose on the Association any obligations to non-members of the Association greater than those imposed by law.
