Duty Free Lunch Periods. Duty-free lunch periods for all full-time employees in the middle school and senior high schools will be provided. Such period shall equal one (1) module, or one-half (1/2) class period at the middle school level, and no less than twenty-five (25) minutes at the senior high. Full-time elementary employees will receive thirty (30) minutes duty-free lunch periods except in special education programs or in regular elementary schools where adjustments may be made with the understanding that equivalent compensatory time will be provided for employees in such programs and/or in those schools in which shortened lunch periods are scheduled and in which the school day is shortened by an equivalent length of time. Employees will not be required to remain in the building during this time provided they notify the building office.
Duty Free Lunch Periods. All secondary teachers shall be entitled to a duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period of at least thirty (30) minutes. All elementary and elementary special area teachers shall be entitled to a duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period of not less than forty (40) minutes.
Duty Free Lunch Periods. All teachers shall have an uninterrupted duty free lunch period of at least 20 minutes. Teachers shall, at their discretion, take their lunch period either on or off school premises provided however, teachers shall notify the school office when they leave the school premises and when they return.

All teachers in departmentalized programs shall have a daily duty-free lunch period of at least the length of the student's lunch period. In counting, time spent in escorting students to the cafeteria shall not be included.
Duty Free Lunch Periods. Each nurse will be given a 30 minute duty free lunch period to be taken other than during the student lunch.
Duty Free Lunch Periods. The normal pre-K through grade 5 teacher workday shall include an uninterrupted duty- free lunch period of fifty-five (55) minutes. The teacher workday at the middle schools (grades 6-8) shall include an uninterrupted duty-free lunch period equal to one class period. On Wednesdays the “blocked” lunch period will “slide” to keep everyone in sync for the early dismissal. Unfilled lunchroom supervision stipend positions shall be filled on a voluntary basis. A universal email communication will be sent within the school building in need to solicit volunteers for such unfilled positions, but this will in no way restrict the building administration from personally asking individuals if they are available to fill that position, as long as it is mutually understood, that all teachers retain the right to decline such request without consequence.

Duty Free Lunch Periods. All teachers, within the building, shall have equal duty-free lunch periods, except as provided below. They shall have the freedom to leave the school premises when unassigned. In the event that they are asked to cover lunch duties, they will be compensated at the Schedule B rate. In the event that a principal requests a teacher to be at a meeting during his/her duty free lunch, and the teacher attends, he/she will be compensated according to Article XVI.B: section 2.
