DUTY EXTENSION. Compensation is made for actual time worked and shall be computed in minimum quarter-hour blocks. Personnel whose work hours would normally terminate within one hour or less from the time of the scheduled court, meeting, or training commencement will be compensated from the termination of their normal work hour through the termination of the scheduled event. Duty extension is paid at time and one half.

DUTY EXTENSION. The normal period of duty may be extended by or under the direction of the immediate supervisor on any particular day or for a specified period with respect to any member or members of the Service and nothing in this collective agreement shall effect the obligation of any member to carry out any lawful orders or to attend at any time to any matters to which it is his duty as a member to attend.

Members subject to transfer as a result of a position posting will receive a minimum of seven (7) days advance notice before such transfer.
DUTY EXTENSION. 19.1. Where an employee is requested and has prior employer approval to work one hour or more beyond the beginning or end of their rostered duty, the employee shall receive an allowance of $20 in addition to payment for the time so worked.

  • Time Extension CONTRACTOR shall provide a time extension request on completion of Task Order for delays caused by others (Permitting Agencies, COUNTY or Contract Cities, or unforeseen conditions such as inclement weather, etc.) and at no fault by CONTRACTOR, subject to approval by COUNTY. COUNTY will review the request and determine in its sole discretion whether the situation warrant a time extension at no-cost or with costs. If CONTRACTOR completes the Task Order beyond the stipulated completion date without COUNTY’s specific written approval for time extension, CONTRACTOR will be subject to liquidated damages and may be construed as non-responsive, which may affect CONTRACTOR for considerations for future Task Orders or projects.

  • Voluntary Extension Purchase Orders issued against a State Centralized Contract by any Authorized User not provided for in the Bid Specifications shall be honored by the Contractor at its discretion and only with the approval of the OGS Commissioner and any other approvals required by law. Contractors are encouraged to voluntarily extend service Contracts to those additional entities authorized to utilize commodity Contracts under Section 163 (3) (iv) of the State Finance Law.
