Common use of Duration of Service Clause in Contracts

Duration of Service. 2.1 Subject to termination as provided for in section 7, this Agreement shall be for an initial term of 24 months commencing on the Effective Date. Provided that this Agreement has not been terminated by either party pursuant to section 7, the Company may renew this Agreement for further one year terms by providing to the Consultant written notice of same at least 30 days prior to the expiration of the current term or the renewal term, as the case may be.
