Common use of Duration of Employment Clause in Contracts

Duration of Employment. Employment of the Employee by the Company hereunder shall commence at the date of the consummation of the Agreement and shall continue for a period of three years from such date. This Agreement shall be renewed automatically for one additional year on the first anniversary of the commencement of the Term and on each subsequent anniversary thereafter, unless earlier terminated pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 8 hereof, or unless either party provides the other with a notice of termination at least 180 days prior to such anniversary date. (As used in this Agreement, "Term" shall mean the initial term and any renewal term of this Agreement).

Employment of This Agreement shall be deemed to have commenced on the Employee by Effective Date, and unless it is terminated earlier in the Company hereunder shall commence at the date of the consummation of the Agreement and manner provided in this Agreement, shall continue for a period term of three (3) years from such date. This Agreement and, unless notice has been provided as set forth in the following sentence, shall be automatically renewed automatically for one additional successive two (2) year on terms following the first anniversary of initial three (3) year term (the commencement of the Term and on each subsequent anniversary thereafter, unless earlier terminated pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 8 hereof, or unless either party provides the other with a notice of termination at least 180 “Term”). Not later than ninety (90) days prior to such anniversary date. (As used in this Agreementthe final day of the then current term, "Term" either party shall mean have the initial right to provide written notice of his or its intention to have the Agreement expire at the end of the then pending term and any renewal term of this Agreement)without automatic renewal.

(As used manner provided in this Agreement, "Term" shall mean the continue for an initial term of three (3) years and any renewal term upon each anniversary date of this Agreement thereafter shall be deemed to renew automatically for additional three-year terms from such anniversary date (the “Term”). Not later than sixty (60) days prior to each anniversary date of this Agreement), either party shall have the right to provide written notice of his or its intention to have the Agreement expire at the end of the then pending three-year term period without automatic renewal.
