Common use of Dueses Clause in Contracts

Dueses. The District agrees to deduct union dues from the pay of unit members who are members of the Association and to remit such monies promptly to the California Teacher’s Association. The District also agrees to provide the Association with an alphabetical list of unit members for whom such deductions have been made, and to indicate any changes in personnel from the list previously furnished. The Association and the District agree to furnish to each other any information needed to fulfill the provisions of this Article. Information from the District shall include the name, job title, department, amount deducted for dues, work location, work, home, and personal cellular telephone numbers, personal email addresses on file with the District, and home addresses no later than the first pay period of the month following hire and every September, January, and May thereafter. Information from the Association shall include name, department, and membership status of all unit members. The Association will provide a monthly list of new members and those who terminate their membership by the 1st working day of each month.
