DUES CHECKOFF & AGENCY SHOP. The Township agrees to deduct from the earnings of each employee union member dues when said employee has properly authorized such deduction in writing. The Union will indemnify, defend and save harmless the Township against any and all such claims, demands, suits or other forms of liability that shall arise out of or by reason of action taken by the Township in reliance upon salary deduction authorization cards submitted by the Union to the Township. The Township will forward all dues deduction monies collected on a monthly basis to the Secretary/Treasurer of the Office and Professional Employees International Union/Local 32. A list of names of deductees will be forwarded monthly. The Township hereby agrees to incorporate an Agency Shop agreement in accordance with New Jersey Statutes with non- membership fee of 85%. The Union agrees to conform to all demand and return specifications as well as to hold the Township safe and harmless on all transmission of receipts made under this provision. The Union shall provide the Township with a copy of its demand and return system.

DUES CHECKOFF & AGENCY SHOP. Section 1 The employer agrees to deduct from the wages of any employees covered by this Agreement, and forward to the Union all Union membership dues and initiation fees uniformly required, if any, as provided in a written authorization form used by the Employer herein, provided that the said form shall be executed by the employee. The written authorization for union dues deduction shall remain in full force and effect during the period of this contract; but may be withdrawn at any time by the filing of notice of such withdrawals with the Comptroller of Employer or other proper disbursing officer. The filling of this Notice of Withdrawal shall be effective to halt deductions as of January 1, or July 1, next succeeding the date on which Notice of Withdrawal is filed. The Employer agrees to provide this service without charge to the Union. The Union agrees that there should be no discrimination, intimidation, restraint or coercion by it or its officers, agents or members against any employee who refuses or fails to execute an authorization card.
DUES CHECKOFF & AGENCY SHOP. A. The Board shall deduct from the pay of each employee from whom it receives a written dated authorization to do so, the required amount of funds for payment of Union. Such funds, accompanied by a list of employees from whom they have been deducted, and The amount, shall be forwarded to the Union no later than forty (40) days after the deductions have been made. The Union will notify the Board forty (40) days prior to any change in such dues.

  • Investment Management If and to the extent requested by the Advisor, the Sub-Advisor shall, subject to the supervision of the Advisor, manage all or a portion of the investments of the Portfolio in accordance with the investment objective, policies and limitations provided in the Portfolio's Prospectus or other governing instruments, as amended from time to time, the Investment Company Act of 1940 (the "1940 Act") and rules thereunder, as amended from time to time, and such other limitations as the Trust or Advisor may impose with respect to the Portfolio by notice to the Sub-Advisor. With respect to the portion of the investments of the Portfolio under its management, the Sub-Advisor is authorized to make investment decisions on behalf of the Portfolio with regard to any stock, bond, other security or investment instrument, and to place orders for the purchase and sale of such securities through such broker-dealers as the Sub-Advisor may select. The Sub-Advisor may also be authorized, but only to the extent such duties are delegated in writing by the Advisor, to provide additional investment management services to the Portfolio, including but not limited to services such as managing foreign currency investments, purchasing and selling or writing futures and options contracts, borrowing money or lending securities on behalf of the Portfolio. All investment management and any other activities of the Sub-Advisor shall at all times be subject to the control and direction of the Advisor and the Trust's Board of Trustees.

  • Checkoff The Employer shall deduct the bi-weekly membership dues from the earnings of those employees who authorize such deductions in writing.
