The Board agrees to deduct from teacher's salaries dues for the Greenwich Education Association, the Connecticut Education Association, and the National Education Association when a teacher provides written authorization for such deductions, and to submit all such monies promptly to the Greenwich Education Association in accordance with Article 30.

DUES AND OTHER DEDUCTIONS. The District agrees to make payroll deductions as hereafter indicated from the pay of employees covered by this Agreement. Such deductions shall commence upon submission of a written authorization, satisfactory to the District, by the employee as forwarded by the Union. Deductions shall include monthly membership dues, assessments, insurance premiums, initiation fees, and contributions, including but not limited to Committee on Political Education (“COPE”) contributions, as are authorized by the employee, and shall be forwarded monthly to the appropriate Union in an agreed upon electronic format. Dues and assessments shall be uniformly applicable to all employees in the same job classification or pay level in the applicable subunit. No fines or penalty imposed on an individual by the Union shall be collected by means of payroll deduction under this Section. The Union agrees to furnish the District with written notice of changes in amounts to be deducted by the tenth (10th) of the month in which such changes are to be effected. The Union shall hold the District harmless from any and all claims, and will indemnify it against any unusual costs in implementing these provisions.
DUES AND OTHER DEDUCTIONS. Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code, Section 4117.09(B)(2), the City agrees to deduct FOP/OLC membership dues, in the amount certified by the FOP/OLC to the City, from the pay of any FOP/OLC member who submits a written authorization for such deduction. The City also agrees to deduct FOP/OLC initiation fees and assessments, in the amount certified by the FOP/OLC to the City, from the pay of any FOP/OLC member who submits a written authorization for the deductions and whom the FOP/OLC certifies owes initiation fees or assessments.

If a Lodge member has insufficient pay due on that payday, such amount shall be deducted from the next or subsequent pay. If a Lodge member desires a payroll deduction for Lodge dues, initiation fees, assessments, and/or other deductions, the member shall sign a corresponding payroll deduction form, which the Lodge shall furnish, and shall present the form to the City payroll clerk. The City agrees to furnish to the Financial Secretary of the Lodge, once each calendar month, a warrant in the aggregate amount of the deductions made for that calendar month together with a listing of the members for whom deductions were made. Nothing herein shall prohibit Lodge members covered by this Contract from submitting dues directly to the Lodge. Any Lodge member may at any time withdraw his or her authorization for payroll deductions of dues, assessments, initiation fees or other deductions by submitting a letter to the City Finance Director expressing the Lodge member's desire to withdraw his or her authorization. The member will submit a copy of the letter to the President of the Lodge. The City will allow additional payroll deduction(s) for Lodge-provided member benefits on a voluntary basis, provided that: 1) the member provides appropriate written authorization to the City Finance Department; 2) five or more members are participating in each additional benefit program for which the City is providing a payroll deduction. Should the number of Lodge members enrolled in any particular member benefit program fall below five (5) members for a period of six or more consecutive months, the City may terminate the payroll deductions for that benefit program. Pursuant to plans certified by the Union and as any member thereof shall individually and voluntarily authorize in writing on forms prescribed by the Union, the employer shall on a bi- weekly pay period basis, deduct from the wages of the employee in the bargaining unit the regular Union membership dues and remit the same to the HVCC Non-Instructional Employees Union, 00 Xxxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx, Troy, New York 12180 or such other location as the Union may designate. DUES AND OTHER DEDUCTIONS. 20.1 The Committee agrees to deduct from the salaries of teachers who have on file with the Committee an executed current Dues Deduction Authorization Card, dues for the Waltham Educators Association, Massachusetts Teachers’ Association, and the National Education Association and to transmit the monies to the Waltham Educators Association Treasurer. Dues will be deducted from year to year unless and until the teacher gives sixty (60) days written notice of withdrawal of such authorization to the Association Treasurer. Any bargaining unit member who approaches the Administration to request the discontinuation of payment of union dues shall be referred by the Administration to the WEA treasurer to effectuate such discontinuation
