Common use of Dues and Fees Clause in Contracts

Dues and Fees. The Employer agrees to deduct whatever sum that may be Authorized by the Union Constitution of the International Union and/or Bylaws of the Local Union for Union dues and initiation fees from the pay of each employee. Said deductions shall be from each bi-weekly pay period. The amounts deducted shall be totalled on a monthly basis and remitted to the Union by the 15th day of the month in which the deductions were made.
