Common use of Dues and Assessments Clause in Contracts

Dues and Assessments. The Board agrees to deduct from the first day of employment any assignments and assessments levied in accordance with the Union's constitution. The Union will advise the Board in writing of any dues or assessments that may be levied or revised from time to time. All such deductions will be forwarded to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Union within ten (10) working days following the month in which such deductions were made, accompanied by a list of the names of all employees from whose wages the deductions have been made, together with the hours worked, the total wages earned, and the amounts deducted for that period.
