Common use of Driving Time Clause in Contracts

Driving Time. The employee shall have the right to refuse to drive after a combination of working and driving more than 13 hours in a day. Due to fatigue related accidents, if accommodations have been provided for the employee or the employee is on LOA, the employee requires the approval of the employer prior to traveling a combination of working and driving more than 13 hours as described above. Employees who travel without the approval shall not receive payment for travel time.
