Donating Leave. 1. An employee who accrues annual leave and/or sick leave and/or personal holidays may donate a minimum of one (1) hour to an approved shared leave recipient.

Donating Leave. Employees may, with the approval of the Superintendent or designee, donate vacation leave or sick leave to another District employee, for circumstances outlined in this Section.
Donating Leave. Non-management personal leave and/or annual leave only may be donated to the Judicial LTD Sick Leave Bank. Employees may donate up to 100% of their personal leave balance, and up to 50% of their annual leave balance; however, employees must retain the equivalent at least 10 days of annual leave (normally 80 hours). The Judicial Branch LTD Sick Leave Bank is operated on a continuing basis and an employee may donate leave at any time. There will be at least one formal donation drive each year and additional donation drives may be conducted as needed.
Donating Leave a. Guild members wishing to donate leave shall send the Leave-Sharing Donation form to the Payroll Division for processing.
Donating Leave. Employees may voluntarily donate annually up to a maximum of two (2) personal leave days, accrued pursuant to the Article XI, Section A of the Agreement, to the sick leave bank. A donated day will be considered a full day whether contributed by a full-time or part-time employee. Donated days may be used by any eligible employees who are approved by the Board under Section 5 of this Policy. Donors may not limit the use of their donated days to specific employees. All leave donations must be approved by the donors by completing and signing a copy of the Sick Leave Bank Donation Form attached to this Policy. All days donated to the Sick Leave Bank will remain in the Bank from year-to-year if unused.
Donating Leave. Employees may anonymously and voluntarily donate annually up to five (5) sick leave days, accrued according to the Agreement between the Perth Amboy Federation, Local 857, Aft, NJSFT, AFL-CIO and the Perth Amboy Board of Education (“Contract”), to the sick leave bank. Members with over twenty-five (25) years in district will have the option of donating twenty (20) sick days per year until they retire. The committee may allow the donation of additional days under extraordinary or special circumstances. Donated days may be used by ay eligible employees who are approved by the committee under this policy. Donors may not limit the use of their donated days to specific employees. All leave donations must be approved by the donors by completing and signing a copy of the Sick Leave Bank Donation Form attached to this policy. The completed form is to be provided to the Sick Leave Bank Committee and shall be completed using the donating employee’s employee number. Said donations shall be kept confidential. All donations are irrevocable and donor employees may not receive compensation in any form for the donation of leave. All days donated to the Sick Leave Bank will remain in the bank until used.

The ability to take leave ceases when a xxxxxx placement ceases unless the need for additional leave is directly connected to the previous placement.

  • Donor Leave An employee shall be granted the necessary leave of absence with pay for the purpose of donating bone marrow or an organ.

  • Childrearing Leave 1. Any teacher who has acquired tenure and is expecting a child, or whose spouse is expecting a child, or who has documented plans in the immediate future to adopt or xxxxxx a child of preschool age or a preteen child with special needs or who is non-English speaking, may be granted a long-term leave without pay for child-rearing purposes up to two (2) full semesters or a reasonably requested portion thereof within the same school year.

  • Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness Leave a) Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness leaves granted to a permanent Teacher or long-term Occasional Teacher under this Article shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, 2000, as amended.
