DOMESTIC SITUATIONS. The Company agrees to recognize that employees sometimes face situations of violence or abuse in their personal lives that may affect their attendance at work. For this reason and with adequate verification (i.e. doctor, lawyer, professional counselor), the Company and Union agree that any employee who makes it known that he/she is experiencing a situation like this, will not be subject to discipline if any absence can be linked to the situation.
