Domestic Partnership. A relationship between two individuals of the same or opposite sex in which: (1) each individual is at least eighteen years of age; (2) neither individual is legally married to another person or in a Domestic Partnership with another person; (3) the individuals are not related by blood closer than would bar marriage in the state of Colorado; (4) the individuals share a mutual obligation of support and responsibility for each other’s welfare; and (5) the individuals are financially interdependent as documented by at least two of the following arrangements: (a) common ownership of real property or a common leasehold interest in real property; (b) common ownership of a motor vehicle; (c) a joint bank account or a joint credit account; (d) designation as a beneficiary for life insurance or retirement benefits, or under a will; (e) assignment of durable power of attorney; or (f) such other proof that the Administrator deems sufficient to establish financial interdependency.

Domestic Partnership. As defined in the California Family Code Section 297, two adults who have chosen to share one another's lives in an intimate and committed relationship of mutual caring and that meet the conditions and/or requirements of Section 297 and related statutes defining such relationships.
Domestic Partnership. Domestic partners are two persons, each aged 18 or older, who have chosen to live together in a committed relationship and who have agreed to be jointly responsible for living expenses incurred during the domestic partnership.

Domestic Partners are also individuals who are jointly responsible for each other's common welfare and can demonstrate this by providing proof of at least 3 of the following: A DP Affidavit (received in the HR office); a joint mortgage or lease; beneficiary designation on life, retirement plan or a will; power of attorney for property or health care; or joint ownership of banking account or motor vehicles.
Domestic Partnership. 23.19.1 CONTRACTOR certifies that it is aware of the requirements of Section 35.39 of the CITY’s Code of Ordinances and certifies that (check only one box below): □ CONTRACTOR currently complies with the requirements of Section 35.39 of the CITY’s Code of Ordinances; or □ CONTRACTOR will comply with the conditions of Section 35.39 of the CITY’s Code of Ordinances; or □ CONTRACTOR will not comply with the conditions of Section 35.39 of the CITY’s Code of Ordinances; or □ CONTRACTOR does not comply with the conditions of Section 35.39 of the CITY’s Code of Ordinances because of the following allowable exemption (check only box below): □ CONTRACTOR does not provide benefits to employees’ spouses in traditional marriages; or □ CONTRACTOR provides an employee the cash equivalent of benefits because CONTRACTOR is unable to provide benefits to employees’ Domestic Partners or spouses despite making reasonable efforts to provide them. To meet this exception, CONTRACTOR shall provide a notarized affidavit that it has made reasonable efforts to provide such benefits. The affidavit shall state the efforts taken to provide such benefits and the amount of the cash equivalent. Case equivalent means the amount of money paid to an employee with a Domestic Partner or spouse rather than providing benefits to the employee’s Domestic Partner or spouse. The case equivalent is equal to the employer’s direct expense of providing benefits to an employee’s spouse; or □ CONTRACTOR is a religious organization, association, society, or any non-profit charitable or educational institution or organization operated, supervised, or controlled by or in conjunction with a religious organization, association, or society; or □ CONTRACTOR is a governmental agency.
