Dog Handlers. (Unit 1 only) Dog Handler positions shall be posted in accordance with Section 30.01. Selection of the employee to fill the position shall be based upon ability and seniority. The following criteria will be used to determine the ability of a Trooper to carry out the varied responsibilities associated with being a Drug Dog Handler.

Dog Handlers. Employees assigned as Dog Handlers will receive three (3) hours paid time per week for canine care within the employee’s regularly scheduled forty (40) hour workweek.
Dog Handlers. During the time an employee is assigned the additional duties ofdog handler", that employee shall receive an increase to base salary of five percent (5%). Employees so assigned shall have no vested rights to such assignment and may be reassigned at the discretion of the Sheriff for operational reasons.
Dog Handlers. Officers assigned as dog handlers will receive an additional five (5%) assignment pay adjustment during the time they serve in this assignment. Dog Handler canine training activities will be conducted on duty. Dog Handlers accept and may resign from the position voluntarily. Acceptance of the assignment is based upon willingness to care for the animal off-duty as a family pet/household member as provided for in Wage and Horn's rules of the US Department of Labor. The parties agree that commuting to work with the dog does not constitute "hours of work" solely because the dog is in the vehicle. Dog masters and Dog Handlers will not be entitled to a call back premium when duty concerns emergency care of their animal. Such time will be paid at either straight time or overtime if applicable.
Dog Handlers. It is the intent of this provision to provide full compensation as required by the Fair Labor Standards Act to those members who are responsible for the care, feeding, exercising, and boarding of a Township-owned dog. Every calendar month each canine officer will be provided with twelve (12) hours of A/T time and two (2) hours of pay at the regular rate. As further compensation, the Township agrees to provide a marked police unit that the officer may use to transport his canine to and from work. It is agreed that the use of this vehicle off- duty is restricted and can only be used when the officer is involved in a duty related function.

Whenever the Industrial Fire Precaution Level is II or greater, a fire security person equipped with a long handled round point No. 0 or larger shovel and a 5 gallon backpack pump can filled with water, will stay at location of blast for 1 hour after blasting is done. Blasting may be suspended by Forest Service, in areas of high rate of spread and resistance to control. Fuses shall not be used for blasting. Explosive cords shall not be used without permission of Forest Service, which may specify conditions under which such explosives may be used and precautions to be taken.

  • Drainage Systems (1) Clear culvert inlets, outlets, and sediment catching basins.

  • Pruning Nondestructive thinning of lateral branches to enhance views or trimming, shaping, thinning or pruning of a tree necessary to its health and growth is allowed, consistent with the following standards:

  • Brakes Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hydraulic lines and fittings, power booster and brake callipers. Excludes linings, pads, drums and discs.

  • Surgery Services and Mastectomy Related Treatment This plan provides benefits for mastectomy surgery and mastectomy-related services in accordance with the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998 and Rhode Island General Law 27-20-29 et seq. For the member receiving mastectomy-related benefits, coverage will be provided in a manner determined in consultation with the attending physician, physician assistant, or an advance practice registered nurse and the patient, for: • all stages of reconstruction of the breast on which the mastectomy was performed; • surgery and reconstruction of the other breast to produce a symmetrical appearance; • prostheses; and • treatment of physical complications at all stages of the mastectomy, including lymphedema.
