Documents and Records. 13.1 Contractor shall keep and maintain full and complete documentation and accounting records concerning the Work. Records shall include without limitation all medical records, accounting records and administrative record related to services provided hereunder. Contractor shall preserve these records for a period of at least seven (7) years following the close of the County fiscal year in which the services were rendered; provided, however, that if an audit has been started, records must be retained until completion and final resolution of any and all issues that may arise. Final settlement shall be made at the end of the audit and appeal process. All accounting records shall be maintained so that they clearly reflect the source of funding for each type of service for which reimbursement is claimed by Contractor. Accounting records include without limitation ledgers, books, vouchers, time sheets, payrolls, appointment schedules, client data cards and schedules for allocating costs.
