Documents Affected. The applicability provisions of Federal laws, regulations, and directives determine the extent to which those provisions affect an entity (such as a subrecipient, lessee, third party contractor, or other participant) participating in the Project through the Recipient. Thus, the Recipient agrees to use a written document to ensure that each entity participating in the Project complies with applicable Federal laws and regulations, and follows applicable Federal directives, except to the extent that FTA determines otherwise in writing.
