Division Head. A management employee assigned the administrative responsibility for a division in the District Offices.
Division Head. If the employee's grievance is not satisfactorily settled at the informal discussion, the Union may, within ten (10) working days after receipt of the informal discussion answer, file a written grievance with the grievant's Division head. The Division head or his/her designee shall meet with the employee, the employee's Local Union Xxxxxxx and/or Local Union official in an attempt to adjust the grievance and shall render an answer in writing stating the reasons for granting or denying the grievance within ten (10) working days after the meeting date with the Division Head. The Division Head or his/her designee who heard the grievance shall mail or personally deliver the Step 1 answer to the employee, the employee's Local Union Xxxxxxx and Local Union Official.
Division Head. 1. Within seven (7) calendar days from their receipt of the answer from the immediate supervisor, an employee may appeal to their division head. A grievance shall not be deemed to be properly filed unless it is completed on an official and appropriate form, furnished by the County. Such written grievance shall:

Division Head. For the purpose of this agreement, “Division Head” shall mean the Deputy Chief in charge of the Division (i.e. Operations or Fire Prevention) that the Officer is assigned to at the time of filing the grievance.

Division Head. Upon receipt of the recommendations from the supervisors, the division head will evaluate the applications as in 13.7.1.1 above and forward his or her recommendations, positive ones in order of priority, to the President's designee. The applicant must be informed of the recommendation regarding his or her application.
Division Head. Any dispute not resolved at Step 1 may be submitted to the Division Head in writing, citing the specific provision of this Agreement in dispute and setting the desired solution within fifteen (15) calendar days after the Supervisor's response. A copy shall be provided to the Immediate Supervisor and the Personnel Officer. Within fifteen (15) calendar days thereafter, a meeting shall be scheduled with the employee by the Division Head, who shall attempt to resolve the matter. The Division Head shall give the employee a written reply within fifteen (15) calendar days after such meeting and shall file a copy with the Personnel Officer. If the employee is not satisfied with the response, he/she may proceed to Step 3. Employees who are supervised directly by the Chief of Police shall by-pass Step 2 and proceed directly to Step 3.
