It is illegal to operate a vehicle that is in motion while using any portable electronic device, the exception is hands free technology, using a device attached to the dashboard, and communications with emergency services. • Plan rest stops every few hours and avoid driving for extended periods at night. If traveling with others, prearrange stopping places along the way. When planning longer trips, arrange for relief drivers. • Do NOT drive when you are tired or taking medication that makes you drowsy. The Rule of Three • To protect GSNC staff, volunteers and program participants at no time during a troop meeting, program, trip or any Girl Scout activity may a staff person or volunteer be alone with a single child where the staff or volunteer cannot be observed by others. Never go anywhere alone or be alone in a room with a single child. Always have a third person with you, whether that is another adult or another child.

TERMINATION OF CONTRACT Reference: 2 CFR § 200 Appendix II (B) Termination for Convenience The Owner may, by written notice to the Consultant, terminate this Agreement for its convenience and without cause or default on the part of Consultant. Upon receipt of the notice of termination, except as explicitly directed by the Owner, the Contractor must immediately discontinue all services affected. Upon termination of the Agreement, the Consultant must deliver to the Owner all data, surveys, models, drawings, specifications, reports, maps, photographs, estimates, summaries, and other documents and materials prepared by the Engineer under this contract, whether complete or partially complete. Owner agrees to make just and equitable compensation to the Consultant for satisfactory work completed up through the date the Consultant receives the termination notice. Compensation will not include anticipated profit on non-performed services. Owner further agrees to hold Consultant harmless for errors or omissions in documents that are incomplete as a result of the termination action under this clause.
