DISTANT. WORKERS Employees classified as Distant Workers as defined and International Distant Workers as defined shall be entitled to the conditions contained at Appendix 7 – Distant Work Provisions of this Agreement.

DISTANT. Where the operations of the Employer require employees to transfer from job to job and place to place outside a metropolitan area, the Employer will pay the cost of transportation between points and reimburse for meals and accommodation en route. Such employees who are required to live outside of their normal place of residence and whose regular and permanent residence is within a metropolitan area, will be supplied with transportation back to the assembly point or base of operations once each week. In addition to the board allowance provided for in Section 4.06 below, employees who are eligible for such expenses will be required to remain on the job for one (1) month or for the duration of the job if less than one (1) month and may be required to sign a form to that effect.
DISTANT. WORKERS Employees shall be classified as Distant Workers and shall be entitled to the conditions contained at Appendix 7 – Distant Work Provisions of this Agreement if they are engaged or selected or advised by the Company to proceed from their Usual Place of Residence to construction work on the Burrup Peninsula and the Employee does so and that work is at such a distance that they cannot return to their Usual Place of Residence each night.

An employee sent by the company to a job, and who is required by the company to remain away from his normal place of residence and where the job is within road kilometres from the company base of operations, will be paid a board allowance of thirty dollars per day. Where such jobs are more than road kilometres from the company base of operations, the employee will be paid a board allowance of sixty-two dollars per day. Employees travelling to jobs throughout the Province of Ontario and who are required to use their own automobile outside of the Metropolitan area, shall be paid an allowance of thirty-five cents per kilometre each way from the company yard or base of operations within the areas as outlined in the attached Appendices.   • Distant Work An employee sent from his or her usual locality to another (in circumstances other than those prescribed in 5.9.4(a) hereof) and required to remain away from his or her usual place of abode will be paid travelling time whilst necessarily travelling between such localities, and expenses whilst so absent from his or her usual locality.

  • Controller The Controller shall be the chief accounting officer of the Company. He shall keep full and accurate accounts of the assets, liabilities, commitments, receipts, disbursements and other financial transactions of the Company; shall cause regular audits of the books and records of account of the Company and supervise the preparation of the Company’s financial statements; and, in general, he shall perform the duties incident to the office of controller of a company (as if the Company were a Delaware corporation) and such other duties as may be assigned to him by the Member or the President or as may be provided by law. If no Controller is elected by the Member, the Treasurer shall perform the duties of the office of controller.

  • Secretary “Secretary” shall mean the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services or his designee.
