Dispatchers. Employees of the Alaska Marine Highway System functioning as Dispatchers shall be compensated as follows for work performed by telephone outside of regular work hours. For calls received within four hours after completion of the regular work day, the time worked shall be recorded on the timesheet in fifteen (15) minute increments. For calls received later than four hours after completion of the regular work day, the time worked on the timesheet shall be recorded in thirty (30) minute increments.
Dispatchers. 6.821 Full-time dispatchers shall be excluded from participation in the Pay Guarantee Plan.
Dispatchers a. Extra Dispatchers shall work Extra Dispatcher work according to seniority established at date of qualification, when they are available, except in an emergency.
Dispatchers. (1) The normally scheduled work assignment for Dispatchers/Dispatcher Supervisors shall average 42 hours a week over a four (4) week period.
Dispatchers. Each Dispatcher eligible for the above holidays shall be paid eight (8) hours at the employee’s regular straight time hourly rate for each holiday whether that employee is scheduled to work or not work on such holiday.
Dispatchers. Six (6) months shall be the normal probationary period for newly hired dispatchers. Dispatchers who, upon completion of the six (6) month probationary period, have not been able to attend an NCIC training seminar due to availability, shall have full access to the grievance procedure and shall not be disciplined without just cause. Upon successful completion of the NCIC training, employees shall be added to the seniority roster. If employees fail to complete the certification process successfully they may be subject to dismissal, and such dismissal shall not be subject to the grievance and arbitration procedure of this Agreement.
Dispatchers. A. For Holiday purposes, “working days” will be measured from midnight to midnight. Employees will be compensated for hours worked.
Dispatchers. The position of Fire Dispatcher is recognized by the Collective Bargaining Agreement as a full-time position and represented exclusively by the Unit.
Dispatchers. Section 38.1 The following language is intended to be construed as a supplement to the current collective bargaining language.

Dispatch unit watch assignments will be realigned to correspond with the Watch assignments throughout the remainder of the Police Department.
