Dispatcher Sign-Ups. For dispatcher, sign-ups shall be conducted on a six (6) month basis for two (2) consecutive three (3) month sign-ups. Employees shall sign into the posted positions by order of their respective seniority. Two (2) positions will be classified as "floating positions" and those positions may be reassigned during the three (3) month period to varying shifts, platoons and/or assignments based upon the needs of the department as determined by the Chief of Police or designee.
