Common use of Discontinuation Clause in Contracts

Discontinuation. Either party may discontinue the job sharing arrangement with ninety (90) days’ notice. Upon receipt of such notice a meeting shall be held between the parties within fifteen (15) days to discuss the discontinuation. It is understood and agreed that such discontinuation shall not be unreasonable or arbitrary. Should the Hospital discontinue the job sharing arrangement the nurses currently working the arrangement will revert to their former status, if no position is available Article 10 will apply.
