Discipline of Probationary Officers. At any time prior to the expiration of the probationary period, the District may, at its own discretion, dismiss a probationary classified Officer from District employment without cause. Probationary Officers who are terminated for cause may, within five (5) work days of the effective date of the termination, appeal the adverse action to the Vice President, Administrative Services or designee by submitting a written request for an administrative hearing.

Probationary employees will be separated from employment before permanent employees.
