Disappearance. We will pay for loss of life, as shown in the Table of Loss, if Your body cannot be located within three hundred sixty-five (365) days after a disappearance due to an Accident during Your Trip. We have the right to recover the benefit if We find that You survived the event. Exposure and/or Disappearance Benefits are supplemental to benefits provided under Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Your Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage may not exceed the Maximum Benefit Amount shown in the Schedule of Benefits.
Disappearance. If an Insured Person has not been found within one (1) year of the disappearance, stranding, sinking, or wrecking of any Conveyance in which an Insured Person was an occupant at the time of the Accident, then it will be assumed, subject to all other terms and conditions of this Policy, that an Insured Person has suffered Loss of Life insured under this policy. BTA5088 Exposure If an Accident resulting from an insured Hazard causes an Insured Person to be unavoidably exposed to the elements and as a result of such exposure an Insured Person has a Loss, then such Loss will be insured under this policy. Disappearance. If an Insured Person disappears and after a suitable period of time it is reasonable for the Police or registration authorities to believe that such Insured Person has died as a result of Bodily Injury, the Death benefit shall become payable subject to a signed undertaking being given by the executor’s of the deceased’s estate that if the belief is subsequently found to be wrong such Death benefit shall be refunded to Chubb.
Disappearance. We do not pay for loss resulting from unexplained or mysterious disappearance, or shortage discovered on taking inventory.
Disappearance. If the body of an Insured Person has not been found within one (1) year of the disappearance, forced landing, stranding, sinking or wrecking of a conveyance in which such person was an occupant, then it shall be deemed, subject to all other terms and provisions of the Policy, that such Insured Person shall have suffered loss of life within the meaning of the Policy. Exclusions: The policy does not cover any accidental injury:

If the body of an insured person has not been found within 365 days of the forced landing, stranding, sinking or wrecking of a conveyance in which such person was an occupant, then, for the purposes of this insurance such insured person shall, in the absence of any evidence to the contrary, be deemed to have suffered loss of life.
Disappearance. If the Insured Person disappears as a result of the disappearance, sinking or wrecking of the Common Carrier caused by an Accident in which the Insured Person was traveling at the time of the Accident during the course of the insured Journey and remains missing after twelve (12) months from the date of the Accident, and the Company has reason to believe that the Insured Person has died in the Accident, the Company will pay the Personal Accident benefit, subject to receipt of a signed undertaking by the personal representative of the Insured Person’s estate that any such payment shall be refunded to the Company if it is later discovered that the Insured Person did not die as a result of the Accident.

It will be presumed that death has occurred if the Insured Person has been missing for twelve (12) consecutive months and We have examined all available evidence provided to support the conclusion that death was caused by an Accident covered by this Master Policy. If at any time after payment has been made by Us for such claim, the Insured Person is found to be living, full refund shall be made to Us.
Disappearance. It will be presumed that death has occurred if the Covered Person has been missing for twelve (12) consecutive months and We have examined all available evidence provided to support the conclusion that death was caused by an Accident covered by this Master Certificate. If at any time after payment has been made by Us for such claim, the Covered Person is found to be living, full refund shall be made to Us.
