Common use of Direct Charges Clause in Contracts

Direct Charges. Operator shall charge the Joint Account with all costs and expenditures incurred in connection with Joint Operations. It is also understood that charges for services normally provided by an operator such as those contemplated in Sections 2.7.2 and 2.7.3 which are provided by a Party’s Affiliate shall reflect the cost to the Affiliate, excluding profit, for performing such services, except as otherwise provided in Section 2.6, Section 2.7.1, and Section 2.5.1 if selected. The costs and expenditures shall be recorded as required for the settlement of accounts between the Parties hereto in connection with the rights and obligations under this Agreement and for purposes of complying with the tax laws of the Country of Operations and of such other countries to which any of the Parties may be subject. Without in any way limiting the generality of the foregoing, chargeable costs and expenditures shall include:
