Digital Certificates. The iOS Software contains functionality that allows it to accept digital certificates either issued from Apple or from third parties. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR DECIDING WHETHER OR NOT TO RELY ON A CERTIFICATE WHETHER ISSUED BY APPLE OR A THIRD PARTY. YOUR USE OF DIGITAL CERTIFICATES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. The software may retrieve and update certificates, certificate revocation lists, and the list of trusted certification authorities, over the Internet.

Digital Certificates. The PEPPOL Transport Infrastructure relies on digital certificates for the establishment of trust between communicating parties. The PEPPOL Authority has been delegated, from the PEPPOL Certification Authority, the authority to require that digital certificates be issued, suspended, and revoked for PEPPOL AP Providers with whom they have a PEPPOL AP Provider Agreement.

Customer may not access, attempt to access, circumvent, control, disable, tamper with, remove, use, or distribute such certificates or other corresponding encryption keys for any purpose. Customer will rely on its own legal counsel and determinations as to the use and viability of electronic signatures in a particular country or for a particular use.
Digital Certificates. The On-premise Software may include technology that allows Customer to enable certain features of PDF documents through the use of digital credentials (“Key”). Customer may not access, attempt to access, control, disable, remove, use, or distribute the Key for any purpose. Digital certificates may be issued by third party certificate authorities, or can be self- signed. Customer is solely responsible for deciding whether or not to rely on a certificate and for the purchase, use, and reliance upon digital certificates.
Digital Certificates. The Software uses digital certificates (as described in Section 9) to help you identify downloaded files (e.g., applications and content), to sign and validate signatures within Portable Document Format (“PDF”) documents, and to validate certified PDF documents. Your Computer may connect to the Internet in connection with the validation of a digital certificate.
