Device Identification. All devices contain an LPSS asset tag number, a manufacturer’s service tag or serial number, and a student identification label. This information will be used to identify the device and the student who is assigned to the device. The student must not remove or interfere with identification placed on the device. If the asset tag, serial number, or student identification label begins to detach from the device, the student should report it immediately to school authorities. LPSS has the ability to track each device with GPS tracking software.
