Determining Workload Assignments. (i) Prior to each semester, each department/discipline/program will have ensured discussions have occurred with regular and contract faculty in order to determine needs of the department/discipline/ program and the preferences of faculty members with respect to scheduling and assignments.

  • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.

  • Overload Assignments (a) An overload assignment is defined as the assignment of duties in excess of the faculty member’s full-time appointment.
