Design Workshops. (a) In order to obtain user input in the preparation of, and prior to submitting, the Design Development Submittals and the Construction Document Submittals, the Parties will hold user group design workshops (the “Design Workshops”) upon the following terms: the Project Co Representative shall arrange the Design Workshops in consultation with the Contracting Authority Representative; the Parties shall cooperate to develop a reasonable schedule for the Design Workshops and shall incorporate such schedule into the draft Works Schedule; Project Co shall circulate to the Contracting Authority Representative an agenda for each of the Design Workshops no later than 10 Business Days prior to the relevant Design Workshop; the Design Workshops shall be held in person in the City of Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx, except where otherwise agreed by the Parties, acting reasonably; in advance of a Design Workshop, Project Co may submit to the Contracting Authority Design Team for comment any interim drafts of any designs or plans required under this Project Agreement, which submissions shall be used to inform Contracting Authority on the development of New Metrolinx Infrastructure and New Third Party Infrastructure design and provide an opportunity for dialog on compliance with the requirements of the Project Agreement. For greater certainty, interim submissions shall be informal and shall not be reviewed in accordance with Schedule 10 - Review Procedure; Project Co shall maintain minutes of the Design Workshops, including possible design solutions and changes in design, and, within two Business Days after each Design Workshop, Project Co shall provide to the Contracting Authority Representative a copy of the minutes, together with a copy of any notes, comments, sketches, drawings, tracings, lay-outs, plans or diagrams prepared at the Design Workshop; Contracting Authority and Project Co agree that the subject matter of the Design Workshops shall not be regarded as Works Submittals to which Schedule 10 - Review Procedure applies, and that Contracting Authority shall not be bound by the input provided in connection with the Design Workshops; Project Co shall submit to Contracting Authority the Design Development Submittals or the Construction Document Submittals, as applicable, for review pursuant to Schedule 10 - Review Procedure; and the Parties agree that, with respect to the Design Development Submittals and the Construction Document Submittals, the period for review shall be as d...

  • Workshop The workshop purpose is to provide a training venue for TSS professionals engaged in LVC support and operational and institutional training. Official attendees are active duty military personnel, DOD civilians, and other personnel whose attendance is directed and paid for by a DOD/Army contract. Workshops are held annually in a CONUS location to accommodate all TSS Headquarters, Command, Installation, and supporting agencies involved with development, delivery, and support of the TSS program. The workshops may be attended by as many as 1,500 official participants, and include breakouts for each of the main TSS program areas, technical training with automated applications, briefings, and symposiums. The contractor shall provide evaluation of available venues, and assist with the selection and execute agreements to engage the venue. The contractor shall assist with the planning for the workshop to include preparation of required paperwork for Army conference approval. The contractor shall coordinate and execute the workshop including marketing, registration, logistical support, workshop operation, and After Action Reviews (AARs). There are no personal services associated with this contract.

  • Workshops During the month of September or October of each year during the term of this Agreement, there shall be held at each University a workshop for Department Chairs at which will be discussed their roles and responsibilities as such. Representatives of the University, at its election, and representatives of the Association, at its election, shall be permitted to participate jointly in such workshop.

  • Design Development Phase Services 3.3.1 Based on the Owner’s approval of the Schematic Design Documents, and on the Owner’s authorization of any adjustments in the Project requirements and the budget for the Cost of the Work, the Architect shall prepare Design Development Documents for the Owner’s approval. The Design Development Documents shall illustrate and describe the development of the approved Schematic Design Documents and shall consist of drawings and other documents including plans, sections, elevations, typical construction details, and diagrammatic layouts of building systems to fix and describe the size and character of the Project as to architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, and other appropriate elements. The Design Development Documents shall also include outline specifications that identify major materials and systems and establish, in general, their quality levels.

  • Design Phase Services § 3.2.1 The Architect shall review the program and other information furnished by the Owner, and shall review laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the Architect’s services.

  • Design Development An interim step in the design process. Design Development documents consist of plans, elevations, and other drawings and outline specifications. These documents will fix and illustrate the size and character of the entire project in its essentials as to kinds of materials, type of structure, grade elevations, sidewalks, utilities, roads, parking areas, mechanical and electrical systems, and such other work as may be required.

  • Design-Builder The person or entity responsible for the proper completion of the activities described in the Contract Documents and who executes the Contract.

Bidding Phase • All Basic Services set forth in the Agreement. Construction Phase • All Basic Services set forth in the Agreement. Post-Construction • All Basic Services set forth in the Agreement.
