Common use of Design Standards Clause in Contracts

Design Standards. Unless otherwise specifically provided for in the Agreement, or directed in writing, Consultant services, studies or designs, that include or make reference to plans, specifications, special provisions, computations, estimates, or other data shall be in conformance with applicable City, state, and federal specifications, manuals, codes or regulations, including supplements to or revisions thereof, adopted prior to or during the duration of this Agreement. In case of any conflict with the guidelines referenced, the Consultant is responsible to identify and follow any course of direction provided by the City.
