Design Standards and Public Art. G.5.12.1. Development at Carolina North shall be substantially consistent with the University design guidelines for Carolina North set forth as Exhibit LE. These Guidelines address, among other provisions, building height, building setbacks, building stepbacks, entry and street level design, and building massing. The Guidelines have specific provisions relative to the main entry drive, the central green way, working landscapes, individual plat parcels within the developed area of the Carolina North Tract, the mix and location of land uses, and building design guidelines. In the event of any conflict between the specific provisions of the Design Guidelines and the specific provisions of this Agreement (including any maps), the terms of this Agreement shall be controlling.

In the event of any conflict between the specific provisions or maps of the Design Guidelines and the specific provisions of this Agreement (including any maps attached as Exhibits), the terms of this Agreement shall be controlling. The following specific provisions in the University’s Carolina North Design Guidelines (November 19, 2008), along with any other provisions of those Guidelines that are contrary to the specific provisions of this Agreement, are expressly not incorporated within the terms of this Agreement:

Public Art in the Property, if provided, shall be installed and maintained by the Developer Owners or Representative. Public Art installations that occur will be in a place visible by and to the public whenever possible. The Developer Owners or Representative will consult with the Town of Chapel Hill Public and Cultural Arts Office to discuss options for public art as the Development moves forward.   • Technical Standards The Generation System shall be installed and operated by the Interconnection Customer consistent with the requirements of this Agreement; the Technical Requirements; the applicable requirements located in the National Electrical Code (NEC); the applicable standards published by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE); and local building and other applicable ordinances in effect at the time of the installation of the Generation System.

  • Public Access Grantor acknowledges and agrees that the general public shall have the regular and substantial opportunity to view the Façade from the streets, sidewalks and other property near the Buildings. Grantor shall have no obligation under this Agreement to allow the general public to view the interior of the Buildings.

  • ETHICAL STANDARDS 10.7.1 Within 90 days after the Effective Date, Developer shall adopt written policies establishing ethical standards of conduct for all Developer-Related Entities (other than NTTA), including Developer’s supervisory and management personnel, in dealing with (a) TxDOT and the Independent Engineer and (b) employment relations.
