Design Policy & Procedures. The Owner will provide Engineering with its policy and procedures for final design to be used by the Project Team in the development of the Project (the “Policies”). The purpose of this will be to set policy with regards to the approved design criteria, and to provide consistency in the development of the documents for design, plans, specifications and estimates. Once the Policies have been provided by the Owner, they will be distributed by the Engineer to each member of the Project Team. The Owner may update the Policies throughout the Project. Items to be identified in the Policies will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Design Guidelines The Owner’s “Design Guidelines” are as published on the Owner’s website (xxxx://xxxxx.xxxxx.xxx/for-vendors/design-guidelines/). In addition to providing a guide to be used in the preparation of design documents for the Owner’s construction projects, the Design Guidelines also contain regulatory code compliance and other Owner requirements. The “Effective Date” (as noted in Section 2.7 of the Design Guidelines), determining which edition will be used for a given project, is set at the beginning of Design Development and will govern the preparation of construction documents for the project unless noted otherwise. Compliance with the Design Guidelines does not relieve the Design Professional from any of its responsibility.

  • Policy and Procedures If the resident leaves the facility due to hospitalization or a therapeutic leave, the facility shall not be obligated to hold the resident’s bed available until his or her return, unless prior arrangements have been made for a bed hold pursuant to the facility’s “Bed Reservation Policy and Procedure” and pursuant to applicable law. In the absence of a bed hold, the resident is not guaranteed readmission unless the resident is eligible for Medicaid and requires the services provided by the facility.
