Design Management. Between the time the Preconstruction NTP is issued and the time the GMP is accepted by the Department, the Design-Builder shall use commercially reasonable best efforts to ensure that: (i) the design evolves in a manner that is consistent with the Department’s budget and programmatic requirements, as the same were defined and established by the Department at the end of the concept design; (ii) the design work is properly coordinated; and (iii) the required design deliverables are produced on or before the dates contemplated in the Project schedule. As part of this undertaking, the Design-Builder shall provide the following:
Design Management. The Project Management Plan shall provide a description of Proposer’s plan and management approach for performing design on the Project, including at least the following: (a) A description of how Proposer intends to manage the development and coordination of design, including issues such as design of connecting projects, right of way, survey, environmental permitting, utilities, community relations and safety issues. (b) A description of the proposed approach for delivering the design for the Project, including where the designers will be located, how designs are to be developed by different firms, how offices will be integrated and work coordinated to ensure consistency and quality. (c) A description of how the design personnel will interface with the construction and maintenance personnel to achieve a quality constructed Project that minimizes long-term maintenance.

Design Management. Between the time the Letter Contract and Notice to Proceed issued and the time the GMP is accepted by the Department, the Design-Builder shall use commercially reasonable best efforts to ensure that (i) design evolves in a manner that is consistent with the Department’s budget and programmatic requirements, as the same were defined and established by the Department at the end of the Concept Design Phase; (ii) the design work is properly coordinated; and (iii) the required design deliverables are produced on or before the dates contemplated in the Project schedule.
Design Management. ENGINEER will manage the work outlined in this scope to ensure efficient and effective use of ENGINEER’s and CITY’s time and resources. ENGINEER will manage change, communicate effectively, coordinate internally and externally as needed, and proactively address issues with the CITY’s Project Manager and others as necessary to make progress on the work. Please note that the scope of work contained within this task is considered subsidiary to the design and management of the project and will not be billed separately. 1.1. Communications and Reporting Attachment A July 14, 2020  Attend a pre-design project kickoff meeting and site visit with CITY staff to confirm and clarify scope, understand CITY objectives, and ensure economical and functional designs that meet CITY requirements  Conduct and document monthly project update meetings with CITY Project Manager  Conduct review meetings with the CITY at the end of each design phase  Conduct and document biweekly design team meetings including City of Arlington Water Utilities engineers.  Prepare invoices, in accordance with Attachment B to this Standard Agreement and submit monthly in the format requested by the CITY.  Prepare and submit monthly progress reports.  Prepare and submit baseline Project Schedule initially, and Project Schedule updates with a schedule narrative monthly, according to the City of Arlington’s requirements.  Complete Monthly M/WBE Report Form and Final Summary Payment Report Form at the end of the project  Coordinate with other agencies and entities as necessary for the design of the proposed infrastructure, and provide and obtain information needed to prepare the design  With respect to coordination with permitting authorities, ENGINEER shall communicate with permitting authorities such that their regulatory requirements are appropriately reflected in the designs. ENGINEER shall work with regulatory authorities to obtain approval of the designs, and make changes necessary to meet their requirements, as part of the design scope.  Personnel and Vehicle Identification: When conducting site visits to the project location, the ENGINEER or any of its sub-consultants shall carry readily visible information identifying the name of the company and the company representativ...
Design Management. A. Appoint a Design Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate the Design-Builder’s design effort. A. Prepare the design by developing detailed Issued for Construction Drawings, Issued for Construction Specifications, design calculations, analyses and reports, with all engineering required in accordance with accepted industry practices and submit milestone design submittals to Arlington County and the WMATA Representative for Approval.
Design Management. Company shall enter data into the DM Tool as described on the ECE. Data will include status of MSCORP-provided leads, “design-win”, and/or “design-in” information. Before submitting such entries, Company shall confirm their accuracy. Company’s failure to adequately pursue MSCORP-provided leads in the DM Tool is considered a material breach of this Agreement. Upon request, Company shall provide to MS further details on any of the DM Tool entries made by Company.
Design Management. Stantec will serve as the PM on the City of Sandy’s behalf, managing communication and coordination among consultants and contractors working on the Alder Creek WTP Improvements project. Stantec will manage the project schedule, budget, and communications with stakeholders. This will include managing the design as the design components advance through to Issued for Construction status along with the acquisition of the requisite permits to allow the City to bid the project for construction. • Design of the Alder Creek WTP Improvements project components will be completed by Consultant (▇▇▇▇▇▇ Associates) Q1 of 2026 • Land use authorizations will be provided and completed August 2025 through October 2025 • Bid and award by end of Q4 2025 • Construction scheduled January 2026 through May 2027 • Staff assumption of Project Manager for 40 hours a monthAdditional staffing as required estimated at an average of a 40 hours a month as an accumulation of various staff A. Prepare invoices and submit monthly. 6. Prepare and submit a project schedule and update the schedule monthly.
