Design Engineer. Design Engineer shall mean CJS Group Inc., the firm retained and paid by Project Manager (subject to reimbursement by Owner as Cost of the Work) to provide all professional engineering and other professional design services for the Project, directly or through subconsultants approved by Owner, including the key consultants listed in attached Exhibit G. Project Manager shall not replace the Design Engineer or any of its key consultants without the approval of Owner.
Design Engineer. The City shall retain a licensed professional engineer licensed to practice in the State of Texas, for the preparation of construction plans, specifications and contract documents for all public improvement required for the Facilities. The City’s retained engineer will be designated as the “Design Engineer” as set forth in this agreement. The City’s retained engineer will be designated as the “Design Engineer” as set forth in this agreement. The City shall require the Design Engineer to provide engineering services during construction to ensure the Facilities are constructed in conformance with the plans, specifications and contract documents for this public improvement.
Design Engineer. The Authority shall retain a licensed professional engineer licensed to practice in the State of Texas, for the preparation of construction plans, specifications and contract documents for all public improvement required for the Facilities. The retained engineer will be designated as the “Design Engineer”. The Authority shall ensure the Design Engineer provides services from design through construction required in the Basic Services of Preliminary Design Phase, Design Phase, Bidding Phase and Construction Phase as outlined in the Agreement For Professional Engineering Services, Attachment 3 to the 2014 BWA Policies and Procedures, the terms of which are incorporated herein as if set forth in its entirety. The services of the Design Engineer may include, but are not limited to, field quality inspections or observation, as well as geotechnical and/or structural materials testing. The Authority will be responsible for monies due the Design Engineer for Basic Services through Bidding Phase, with EDC responsible to reimburse the Authority for all other engineering services as described in 2.(b), above.

On those roads for which Forest Service completes the design during the contract, the design quantities shall be used as the basis for revising estimated costs stated in the Schedule of Items and adjusting Timber Sale Account. Tenant and Architect shall verify, in the field, the dimensions and conditions as shown on the relevant portions of the base building plans, and Tenant and Architect shall be solely responsible for the same, and Landlord shall have no responsibility in connection therewith. Landlord’s review of the Construction Drawings as set forth in this Section 3, shall be for its sole purpose and shall not imply Landlord’s review of the same, or obligate Landlord to review the same, for quality, design, Code compliance or other like matters. Accordingly, notwithstanding that any Construction Drawings are reviewed by Landlord or its space planner, architect, engineers and consultants, and notwithstanding any advice or assistance which may be rendered to Tenant by Landlord or Landlord’s space planner, architect, engineers, and consultants, Landlord shall have no liability whatsoever in connection therewith and shall not be responsible for any omissions or errors contained in the Construction Drawings, and Tenant’s waiver and indemnity set forth in the Lease shall specifically apply to the Construction Drawings.

  • General Contractor A building, construction, or contracting firm with whom Borrower has contracted or may in the future contract with for the construction of the Improvements pursuant to a certain construction contract between them (the "Construction Contract").

  • Completion of Improvements Within 90 days of completion of any construction herein permitted, Company will cause to be prepared and delivered to Authority record documents as required under the Tenant Work Permit process, including but not limited to as-builts, legal descriptions, boundary surveys, and certified final cost of construction. The submission of record document electronic media will be in accordance with Authority’s Standard Procedure for computer aided design and drafting and drawings, as may be revised from time to time.
