Design calculations. All subdivisions are required to show design calculations of proposed sanitary sewer systems and shall be submitted to the Public Works Department. The applicant shall submit a design stamped by an Engineer licensed by the State of Oregon. Single family residential services, provided they are not part of a larger development project, are not required to submit calculations to the City provided that they meet the minimum slope requirements. The calculations shall include the following items:

Design calculations. Design calculations shall be provided for all structures, except Overhead Structures, to be constructed as part of the project. Design Calculations shall be clear, readable and easy to follow. Computer program generated output or data sheet calculations shall be accompanied by input data information and sample calculations to verify the accuracy of the computer output.

A/E, as well as its Consultants, will maintain a file of the design calculations for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing parts of each Project, along with calculations required for determining Energy Envelope Indices. Design calculations will show clearly the requirements for the selection and sizing of structure members, air conditioning and heating units, electrical circuits and equipment, lighting fixtures, and any other items requiring calculations.

Drawings and computations shall be signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer registered in the State of Florida. Design Calculations shall be included with the bid submittal.

Design calculations. When the design has been completed, two (2) copies of the design calculations shall be prepared and shall be suitably indexed and referenced. The calculation shall be neatly bound in suitable covers and shall be endorsed by the principal or project director of the consulting engineering firm. The calculations shall be done on suitable A4 size sheets, and shall be submitted together with a cover note detailing the name of the consultant, the consultants’ designation/section, the date of the calculation, sheet and page reference, and signatures/names of each of the person preparing and checking the calculations.
Design calculations. Complete design calculations shall be signed and sealed by the Purchaser’s Design Engineer. Design calculations shall be legible and fully annotated to facilitate review by the Region Engineer. Purchaser’s Design engineer shall explain all formulae and terms and cite all references.
